I’m Kisha! Founder and Online Therapist of

the Optimistic Counseling Practice

Kisha has been a licensed psychotherapist since 2010. Kisha is the founder of optimsticcounseling.com. A Texas based virtual therapy practice specializing in alleviating clinical depression and anxiety that debilitates the professional and personal functioning of Black Women.

Kisha helps clients beat mental blocks that stem from Imposter Syndrome, such as self-doubt or fear, that make them second-guess if they’re doing enough, despite being overachievers.

Kisha empowers women to defy toxic social pressure, by recreating their own definition of happiness and finally achieve the life they’ve always wanted.

Through clinically proven therapeutic strategies, Kisha helps Black women recognize their worth.

So they can own their victories, trust their capabilities, and be more vocal about their successes.

Kisha helps her clients let go of past disappointments that are holding them back from future opportunities.

At the Optimistic Counseling Practice, Kisha’s mission is to empower Black Women to feel seen, heard, and safe, no matter how big or small their story is.
